Chicago IL | August 2023 - May 2024Create a syllabus from scratch for a uniquely original visual arts course, as pitched by the teaching artist, to lead a class of youths between 6th grade and 12th grade in honing artistic abilities with a showing at the end of the classes to present artworks. Celebrate, encourage, and motivate local Chicagoan LGBT+ and POC youth to engage in the arts through no cost-programs to reach communities who do not have access to arts programming due to financial and systemic barriers.
